In the fast-paced world of electronics manufacturing, few things matter more than consistency, agility, and the ability to deliver under pressure. At Aurightec Asia, these principles are more than operational goals – they're embedded in our culture.
With a legacy spanning 50 years and a presence in China since 2005, our operations in Suzhou have quietly built a reputation among global OEMs as a trusted provider of low-volume, high-mix electronics manufacturing. Serving sectors like automotive, medical, rail, semiconductor testing, energy management, telecommunications, and industrial automation, Aurightec Asia specializes in what many EMS providers shy away from: complexity.
Why Customers Come
Many of our customers first approach us because of our European heritage and longstanding reputation in the EMS industry. But what keeps them coming back is more tangible: world-class quality, deep engineering expertise, and proactive risk management.
We are known for our dedication to excellence in high-spec environments. For years, we have maintained an average defect rate of just 10 DPPM (defective parts per million) – a figure well below the industry benchmark of 100 DPPM and considered exceptional in EMS. Some of our key accounts report even better performance. But quality here goes beyond metrics. When issues arise, they’re solved with such precision that recurrence is effectively zero. This capability stems from a senior team trained not just to correct faults, but to eliminate root causes entirely.
How We Build Trust
Much of this performance is made possible by our Customer Focus Teams (CFTs). Each major customer is supported by a dedicated, cross-functional team – including a program manager, process engineer, customer quality engineer, testing engineer, and material planner – all working together to ensure alignment, speed, and shared accountability. When an issue can't be resolved within the CFT, it is escalated to a strategic account committee, comprising top leadership who allocate resources and resolve challenges quickly.
This structure has helped us build long-standing partnerships, including one that has lasted nearly two decades and now accounts for a significant share of our local revenue.
Agility in Action
Our commitment to agility is more than just fast turnaround times. During the global electronic component shortage from 2021 to 2023, our team implemented a quarterly component market trend analysis, proactively alerting customers to potential risks.
By initiating early procurement plans and securing materials ahead of crisis points, we helped customers avoid costly price spikes and delays. In several cases, this translated to millions of euros in avoided PPV (purchase price variance). Customers responded by sharing longer-term forecasts and even providing advance funding – a clear sign of trust in the partnership.
Engineering That Drives Value
We also provide critical engineering support, particularly in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Cost (DFC).
In one instance, our team worked with a medical device company to redesign the PCB layout of a new-generation defibrillator. The result: significantly improved production yield and a 10% reduction in bill of materials (BoM) costs.
In another case, a local semiconductor testing company benefited from our DFC support, switching to approved local components that reduced total BoM costs by 30% while maintaining quality.
Even when original documentation is missing, we step up. Through reverse engineering, our engineers rebuilt technical files for legacy automotive products, enabling a smooth and cost-effective transfer of production from Europe to Asia.
Built for Resilience
In a world of geopolitical risk and tariff uncertainty, our global footprint provides customers with flexibility. With facilities across Asia and Europe operating on harmonized systems and processes, customers can shift production between regions without compromising quality or schedule.
One European customer whose main target market is the US recently did just that, transferring a product line to Malaysia to avoid tariffs while preserving performance and supply continuity.
Delivering More Than Manufacturing
Aurightec Asia’s success is not built on one silver bullet, but on a system of capabilities designed for precision, agility, and trust. Whether navigating global shortages, solving complex engineering problems, or adapting to shifting geopolitical landscapes, we continue to deliver real value for our customers.
As demand for high-reliability electronics manufacturing grows, we are well-positioned to lead – not just as a supplier, but as a strategic partner.
